Die Mannschaft target the quarter-finals in Foxborough; here’s every free stream, sorted by country.

THE MATCH

Germany and Paraguay meet in the World Cup 2026 Round of 32 on Monday at Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Massachusetts. Kick-off is 4:30 PM ET (9:30 PM BST / 22:30 CET / 06:30 AEST on 30 June). Julian Nagelsmann’s side enter as clear favourites after a dominant group stage: a 7–1 demolition of Curaçao and a stoppage-time winner to beat Ivory Coast 2–1 were the highlights, while a late defeat to Ecuador was academic by the time it arrived. The one cloud overhead is the knee injury that ruled centre-back Nico Schlotterbeck out of the tournament; Antonio Rüdiger steps into the backline in his place.

Paraguay had a far bumpier ride through Group C. A 4–1 hammering by hosts USA on matchday one looked like an early exit in the making, but a gritty 1–0 win over Türkiye and a goalless draw with Australia were enough to squeeze through as one of the best third-placed teams. They arrive shorn of their most creative outlet: midfielder Miguel Almirón serves a suspension after his red card against Türkiye, forcing the Paraguayan camp to rely on collective organisation over individual spark. The winner earns a last-16 date on 4 July in Philadelphia against either France or Sweden, with a potential quarter-final return to Foxborough on 9 July.

HOW TO WATCH

In the UK, Germany vs Paraguay is live on BBC iPlayer — entirely free, though you’ll need a BBC account and a valid TV licence. US viewers have Fox and FS1 in English (stream via the Fox One app or foxsports.com), with Spanish-language coverage on Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock. Australian fans can catch every minute free on SBS On Demand — the 06:30 AEST start on Tuesday morning demands an early alarm, but the price is right. In Germany, ARD and ZDF both carry the national team’s games live and free; stream on ARD Mediathek (ardmediathek.de) or ZDF Mediathek (zdf.de).

If you’re travelling and find your home stream geo-blocked, a VPN is the straightforward fix. Connect to a UK server to unlock BBC iPlayer, a German server for ARD/ZDF, or an Australian server for SBS On Demand. All three services are free once you’re in. The fact box below has everything you need at a glance.
